His educational training was based in the psychoanalytic/psychotherapeutic tradition, but he is also familiar with other modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). He endeavours to adapt his approach to the personality of the client, and the unique challenges each client wishes to explore in-session. With that said, his personal affinities tend more towards humanistic (client-centred) and hermeneutic (interpretive, symbolic, or meaning-making) traditions. Known for applying a human rights lens to all of her work, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive and healing space for individuals, using a strengths-based and person-centered approach. Meredith draws upon experience working for provincial government programs as well as the non-profit sector, in both rural and urban centers.
